So I am really not big on elections and politics. I mean if something "important" is happening I will usually pay attention, or if the Presidental elections are going on. But other than that I have never really been a politics person, it is just one of those things that never really interested me. |

So during our last Dignitas class we talked about Social Networking. Well I have never been a huge fan of talking to people online that I don't know. I guess you just hear all those horror stories about bad things happening, so I guess I just don't really do that. I do know some people who have met people online and talk to them. I have also heard of people who have met online, started dating, and have ende up married. So it is possible. |

So far college life has been great! I am loving the freedom and I love meeting new people and making new friends. I guess there have been a few interesting and fun experience, but my favorite would have to be just hanging out with my friends! |

This blog is just about this girl named Jessi from Rochester, MN. She loves to clean and to work out. It is basically just telling us all about herself and what she likes to do.

hey i'm new to this community and thought i would share my thoughts on a former conversation about Islamic extremism.
i agree, something must be done to prevent the onslaught of innocent bystanders to the attacks of terrorism. but to say that all Muslims are like that simply is not true. Because of a few radical groups, i sometimes feel people condemn the entire faith claiming it is immoral or, intolerable.
it frustrates me to no end when people believe that Islam should not even be respected because a few of its members kill children and such. in part, this may be true. but only a small portion of those who follow Islam are violent.
remember the Crusades, the Spanish Inquisition, the Salem Witch Hunts. is Christianity not guilty of the same charges? are we to do away with all religion and kill its followers?
even today, anti-abortion activists bomb abortion clinics, killing people in the name of God and for the sake of unborn children. sound familiar?
it just makes no sense to try to eliminate the extremists from the religion. there will always be those who want to take it a step further. now, granted, we can try. but it seems like both a waste of money and time."

Hey there all.. I am just going to tell you all a little about me! I LOVE sports!! I love to play volleyball and basketball!! I also love football, hockey, baseball, softball....they were pretty much the best things ever invented!! I love watching movies...I dont really have a favorite movie because there are way to many to chose from! I like to listen to music.. I am not picky when it comes to music.. I like pretty much everything. A few of my favorites are Rascal Flatts, Shinedown, Nickelback, etc. So ya thats about it! |

Hey everybody! I had to started this live journal for my College Dignitas Class! This summer I basically worked! I just bought a truck so I worked two jobs so I could pay for it! Otherwise I went on vacationa and hung out with my friends!! Overall it was a pretty good summer!!!! |
